Do you or your family need some extra support during lockdown? Would you like to connect with people through doing something fun and creative? You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to book a free online music therapy session with Elizabeth, our student music therapist who we’re fortunate to have undertaking her final placement with us here at Central Ringwood Community Centre. Community members of all ages, cultures, (dis)abilities, and levels of musical experience are welcome!

Music therapy is a research-based profession which utilises music to actively support people of all ages and abilities to improve their mental and physical health, functioning and quality of life.

Up to Eight Free Personalised Sessions are available:

Wednesdays 10:15am or 3:30pm and Thursdays 10:00am or 11:30am

Individual music therapy sessions are for those who would like to receive additional support during this challenging time. This may include Family sessions with parents/carers and little ones to support developmental goals. Sessions run for around 30-60 minutes and are customised to each person's musical preferences and needs. Your goals may include supporting physical and mental wellbeing, reducing isolation, anxiety, or stress, building confidence, expressing emotions and creativity, learning new things, and fostering positive relationships.
