At our Community Center, we’re deeply aware of the growing plastic waste problem. That’s why the WUP Shop (Wonderful Upcycling Program) is proud to join the “Boomerang” initiative. Our dedicated volunteers, affectionately known as “WUPPEES,” are sewing reusable cloth bags from old fabrics, which we call “Boomerang Bags.” These bags will be available at various local spots with a simple message: “Take a bag, use it, and bring it back.” We hope Ringwood will embrace this idea, helping to reduce waste and strengthen our community’s commitment to the environment. Boomerang Bags can be picked up at the Community Center’s office foyer.
Our office will close 1pm June 28. We will reopen 9am-12pm July 8th-12th. Normal Office hours will resume on 15th July.
